I hate offices, basically.

I think 3 weeks between finishing my job and starting my travels is the prefect amount of time. Inbetween travel planning and housework and catching up with people and being generally domestic, I'm starting to wonder how normal people manage to fit jobs in?

These are the things I won't miss about my office job: (actually I think working in offices for 8, 9, 10 hours a day should be illegal and also they should have treadmills in offices with computer screen hitched up over them. So your veins don't rot. Thats just my opinion.)

- breathing foul air-conditioned-and-filtered-through-150-other-people's-lungs-air for 9 hours a day every day.

- sitting still in the same position for 8.5 of the those 9 hours every day (muscles getting stagnant... I mean muscles that are remaining. Butt by now is getting permanently flattened from office chair.. thighs are just sitting around accumulating little villages of fat cells).

- waiting in line to buy CBD sushi with all the other suits CBD people waiting in line to buy sushi

- having RSI and sore eyes. Can't wait for the RSI to disappear.

- being expected to wear painful formal shoes that can't be worn with socks and always either a)don't go with skirts or b)have a heel so high that you have to wear jandals for everything further than the photocopier.

So long 9-5. :)
